Abstract: PURPOSE: A cell based battery system emulator is provided to independently develop and test a BMS(Battery Management System) algorithm by separating a BMS algorithm mounting unit from a BMS hardware interface unit of which interfaces are connected by communication. CONSTITUTION: A multi cell battery model performing unit(500) calculates a cell output voltage value by modeling a cell satisfying a requested battery pack voltage on a multi cell basis A multi cell hardware interface unit(400) converts a calculated cell output voltage value to a physical cell voltage value practically inputted to a BMS. The BMS(300) is interfaced with a cell output voltage of the multi cell hardware interface unit. A battery pack voltage emulator(200) emulates a battery pack voltage requested by a calculated cell voltage of the multi cell battery model performing unit as a real battery voltage value.
