Abstract: A charging system and method for providing a specialized service to a specific business customer using dedicated EPG(Electronic Program Guide) in a bidirectional DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) environment are provided to offer information to a subscriber through the dedicated EPG to select and watch a program in DMB broadcasting, thereby enabling the subscriber to watch or use information provided from a dedicated EPG service provider. A DMB business service unit(100) controls and manages whether a subscriber mobile terminal(400) uses a service and performs a charge and an account for the DMB service cost of the subscriber mobile terminal. A dedicated EPG business service unit(200) downloads and manages application for providing the service for data transmitted from a dedicated EPG affiliated business service unit(300), and transmits information transmitted from the dedicated EPG affiliated business service unit to a specific region of dedicated EPG through a DMB network or provides the information through portable/wireless Internet. The dedicated EPG affiliated business service unit manages information to be provided through the dedicated EPG and manages providing contents. The subscriber mobile terminal receives a broadcasting signal through the dedicated EPG or basic EPG to receive the service.
