Abstract: PURPOSE: A shock-absorbing gas cylinder is provided to operate the cylinder rod with a small force and prevent shaking or malfunction of the cylinder rod. CONSTITUTION: A certain path is formed in holes(34a,34b) of a first piston so that a first and a second chamber are connected through a hole(22) of a first rod. A valve pin(40) for opening and closing the path is inserted into the hole of the first rod. A cable(W) extended outside is connected to one connection part(44) of the valve pin. An elastic force by a spring(48) acts on the valve pin. The gas pressure of a third chamber acts on the piston by the cross-sectional difference between the first and second rods.
