    Abstract: PURPOSE: A multifunctional artificial fishing reef is provided to take early rooting of varieties of shells or aquatic plants, maximize surface area of the structure for growing the varieties of shells or aquatic plants, prevent suspended solids from accumulating on the upper surface of the foundation part and create more pleasant inhabitation environment. CONSTITUTION: The multifunctional artificial fishing reef comprises a unit fishing reef(10) comprising a cucullated foundation part(11) at a vertex part of which a flow hole(15) is penetratingly formed; legs(16) which are formed in such a shape that the upper part of the legs is wide while the lower part of the legs is narrow in the lower part of the foundation part(11), and which are integrated with the foundation part(11); insertion rings(13) and insertion stones(14) adhered onto the foundation part(11) to insert various underwater organisms onto upper surface layer(12) of the foundation part(11); and a pair of mew gull members projectingly formed between respective legs(16) on lower surface layer of the foundation part(11) in such a way that the pair of mew gull members are integrated with the foundation part(11).
