Abstract: PURPOSE: A nano nickel particle and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enable mass production of nano nickel particles for multi-layer ceramic capacitors through a single process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a nano nickel particle comprises the steps of: irradiating a bulk nickel plate in solvent with a laser to obtain nano nickel particles and drying the solvent accommodating the bulk nickel plate. The solution is preferably water soluble solvent or solvent having hydroxyl group.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A negative electrode material for lithium secondary batteries and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance cycling properties and reduce manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A negative electrode material for lithium secondary batteries comprises silicon(Si) nano particle and more than 1 layer of conductive materials coated on the surface of the silicon nano particles. The silicon nano particle additionally includes one selected from nano particles of Ni, Co, Fe, Pt, Au, Al, Cr, Cu, Mg, Mn, Mo, Rh, Ta, Ti, W, U and V. The conductive material is a carbon structure. The negative electrode material has 90% or higher efficiencies of the capacity retention discharge capacity after 100 cycles of charging/discharging in a secondary battery cell test.
