Abstract: Functional footwear for degenerative knee joint arthritis is provided, which relieves the pain of knee joint arthritis by generating rotation force relieving the oppression of the knee. Functional footwear for degenerative knee joint arthritis has a sole(140) of the quadrangle shape in which the profiled surface structure is parallel with the surface. The angle of inclination(alpha) is formed outward about the inner vertical line of the footwear. An angle between the mechanical axis and the bent axis of the knee and the angle of inclination is identical. The angle of inclination is selected among 3, 5, 7, 10 or 15 degrees.
