Abstract: PURPOSE: A residue removing device of an injection mold and a method thereof are provided to prevent malfunction caused by residual air and resin residues remaining in the mold and reduce working hours by not needing additional cleaning time. CONSTITUTION: A residue removing device of an injection mold comprises a lower mold, a connection pipe, and a degassing member (20). The lower mold forms resins with injection as an upper mold is vertically moved and converted into an opened state or a closed state. The connection pipe is extended by being connected to a lower core hole extended downwards from a core and transfers compressed air or sucks the air in the core. The degassing member senses the closed state in which the upper part of the lower mold is sealed through the connection pipe. The degassing member enables the core to be in a vacuum state by sucking the internal air of the core through the connection pipe. The degassing member senses the opened state in which the upper part of the lower mold is opened and removes resin residues remaining on the upper surface of the core by supplying the air of a high pressure through the connection pipe.
