SOLUTION: In a vacuum cleaner main body 1, a suction port 4, and an electric blower chamber 5 in which an electric blower 6 is housed are formed. At the same time, a dust-collecting device-housing chamber 9 in which a dust- collecting device 20 is detachably fitted is formed on a blowing passage from the suction port 4 to the electric blower chamber 5. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily take out a paper pack from a basket even when the paper pack is fully expanded by a method wherein the basket in which the paper pack is fitted is detachably provided in a dust collection chamber, and a take- out port for the paper pack is formed on the side surface or the rear surface of the basket. SOLUTION: In a vacuum cleaner main body 1, an electric blower and a dust collection chamber 3 are provided, and also, in the dust collection chamber 3, a basket 5 in which a paper pack is fitted, is detachably provided. Also, on the top of the vacuum cleaner main body 1, a lid 6 to open/close the dust collection chamber 3 is provided. In this case, the basket 5 is formed into a box-shape of which the top part and the rear part are open, and the rear surface opening is made a take-out port 9, and an erecting wall 8 is formed under the lower opening edge of the take-out port 9. Thus, since the take-out port 9 is arranged on the rear surface part of the basket 5, the paper pack can be easily disposed from the take-out port 9.
