빔 포밍을 수행하는 빔 포머는, 입력 신호를 적어도 하나의 변환 함수를 이용하여 변환한 변환 신호에 대한 공분산(covariace)을 연산하고, 상기 연산된 공분산을 테플리츠 행렬 형태로 근사화하고, 상기 근사화한 결과를 기초로 상기 변환 신호에 대한 가중치인 변환 신호 가중치를 연산하는 가중치 연산부 및 상기 가중치 연산부에서 연산한 변환 신호 가중치를 이용하여 결과 신호를 생성하는 합성부를 포함한다.

A beam forming module to perform beam forming includes: a converter to generate a conversion signal with respect to an input signal using at least one conversion function; a weight calculator to calculate a conversion signal weight with respect to the conversion signal; and a combiner to generate a result signal using the conversion signal from the converter and the conversion signal weight from the weight calculator. The conversion signal weight may be applied to at least one conversion function to calculate an optimal value of an input signal weight with respect to the input signal. Furthermore, the conversion function may be a function to reduce a dimension of the input signal.

The present invention relates to a beam forming method, a method of determining a beam forming coefficient and an ultrasonic imaging apparatus. The beam forming method includes the following steps of receiving a plurality of ultrasonic signals reflected from an object after radiating an ultrasonic wave to the object; obtaining a beam forming calculation result for a part of the received ultrasonic signals to determine a beam forming coefficient candidate group based on the beam forming calculation result for a part of the received ultrasonic signals; obtaining beam forming calculation results for the received ultrasonic signals by applying beam forming coefficients in the beam forming coefficient candidate group to select at least one beam forming coefficient in the beam forming coefficient candidate group based on the beam forming calculation results for the received ultrasonic signals; and beam-forming the ultrasonic signals by using the selected at least one beam forming coefficient as the weight.

PURPOSE: A modulator, an apparatus for obtaining light field data using modulator, an apparatus and a method for processing light field data using modulator are provided to improve the space resolution of an image. CONSTITUTION: A modulator(120) comprises an attenuation pattern which spatially modulates the 4D optical field of an image. A sensor(130) obtains the 2D signals of the 4D optical field which is spatially modulated. The attenuating pattern makes the position of the frequency response for the 2S signal by the spatial modulation in frequency area.
Abstract:
An image capturing lens system is provided to make a post-process simple by dividing a light passed through a phase modulation mask into an X-component and an Y-component. In an image capturing lens system, a pick-up lens group comprises a plurality of lenses. The pick-up lens group is composed of a high power lens(L1), a first meniscus lens(L2), a second meniscus lens(L3), and a correction lens(L4). A convex side of the first meniscus lens is faced to the object side, and the convex side of the second meniscus lens is faced to the image side. The first meniscus lens reduces spherical aberration of lens as a low-powered negative corrector.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for restoring an image are provided to apply weights considering the optical characteristic of a lens, changed according to space by the field information and focus deterioration of the lens, to an image to restore a deteriorated image, thereby making an image photographing device small and slim easily. An apparatus(100) for restoring an image comprises a noise removing unit(110), an estimation unit(120), a weight applying unit(130), and a creating unit(140). The estimation unit estimates the field information and focus deterioration of an input image. The weight applying unit applies plural weights to the input image according to the optical characteristic of a lens. The creating unit creates an output image by using the input image to which the plural weights are applied.
