PURPOSE: An image data processing method, an image sensor using the same, and an image data processing system are provided to support a normal sampling mode and a 1/N sub sampling without modifying a circuit of a data processing device. CONSTITUTION: A sample and hold array(140) includes a plurality of latch circuits. A two-channel transmission line block(150) connects the output image data of the latch circuits to four transmission lines. A horizontal address generator(160) generates a first channel selection control signal and a second channel selection control signal which control the opening and closing of a plurality of switches.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A packet decoding method and an apparatus thereof in a digital broadcasting system are provided to increase the decoding performance of packets after increasing the decoding number of packets having low channel estimation performance. CONSTITUTION: An SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) measuring unit(220A) measures SNR of each packet. A decoding control unit(250A) controls in order to decode the packet. A decoder(240) decodes the packet according to a control command of the decoding control unit. The decoding control unit decides the maximum decoding number of packets.

PURPOSE: A counter circuit, an apparatus having the same, and a counting method thereof are provided to increase the operation speed by implementing double counting operation per clock cycle period. CONSTITUTION: A first counting unit(110) generates a first bit signal by latching an input signal at the termination point of the counting operation. A second counting unit(120) generates a second bit signal which toggles in response to the edge of the input clock signal. A ripple counter(10) generates the superior bit signals toggling in response to the output signal of the second counting unit.

CONSTITUTION: An active correlation double sampling circuit(132) performs correlated double sampling about an active pixel output signal. The active circuit generates the first sampling signal. The active circuit generates a first comparison signal for generating a digital code. An OB correlated double sampling circuit correlation double sampling circuit(136) performs the correlated double sampling about the OB pixel output signal.

PURPOSE: An analog-digital converter and an image pickup device equipping the analog-digital converter are provided to remove the noise component and remove supply power noise and switching noise. CONSTITUTION: An analog-digital converter and an image pickup device equipping the analog-digital converter include an optical black standard signal generation unit(50), a lamp signal generator, and a correlated double sampling block. The optical black standard signal generation unit generates a first sampling signal by performing correlated double sampling about pixel signal outputted from a first pixel. The optical black standard signal generation unit generates the second reference signal based on the first sampling signal and the first standard signal. The lamp signal generator generates the lamp signal based on the second reference signal.

A counter array and an image sensor including the same are provided to reduce an operating current and an instant current change amount, thereby increasing an operating margin. A controller outputs an operation control signal and a direction indication signal. Counter units(30_1~30_N) maintain previously outputted values or perform a count operation in response to the operation control signal. The counter units perform an up-count operation or a down-count operation in response to the direction indication signal during the count operation.

An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to enable incident light to be almost vertically reflected in an end part direction of an LC panel by using a reflection surface of a concave curve shape, thereby compensating low luminance of an end part of a lamp. Plural lamps(430) are disposed in the rear of an LC panel(100), and arranged in parallel over the whole rear of the LC panel. An optical member(410) is disposed between the LC panel and the lamp. A receiving mold(440) receives at least one end part of the lamp, and is prolonged in a horizontal direction of a prolongation direction of the lamp. A reflection surface(440c) of the receiving mold facing the optical member is formed in a concave curve shape.

A surface light source device and a backlight unit having the same are provided to increase a discharge current and spread electric discharge generated between electrodes to both ends of the surface light source device by using extension electrodes and a substrate of which the upper surface is inclined such that the thickness of both ends with the electrodes is thin and the thickness of the center part is thick, thereby improving brightness, brightness uniformity, and optical efficiency. A surface light source device comprises a first substrate(101), a second substrate(102), a partition(104), and electrodes(121,122). The second substrate is joined to the first substrate to form a discharge area. The partition divides the discharge area into plural discharge units. The electrodes are respectively installed to both ends of the discharge unit to apply a discharge voltage to the discharge area. The center area of at least one of the first and second substrates is thicker than the other area of the substrate.
