    Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for arranging user interface objects and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to easily select user interface objects even with a single hand grabbing a portable touch screen device, by arranging the user interface objects to be pushed to one side when the portable device is tilted. CONSTITUTION: A control part checks if a tilt, lowering one side, occurs at step 301. If the one side lowering tilt is detected, the control part checks as which of the following a portable touch screen device is preset by a user at step 303: right-handed, left-handed, or both-handed. If the device is set as both-handed, the control part controls user interface objects so that they are arranged to be pushed to the lowering side, or on the contrary, to be pushed to the rising side, at step 305. If the device is set as right-handed, the control part controls the user interface objects so that they are arranged to be pushed to the right side of the touch screen, at step 307. If the device is set as left-handed, the control part controls the user interface objects so that they are arranged to be pushed to the left side of the touch screen, at step 309.
