Abstract: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) for reducing EMI(Electro-Magnetic Interference) is provided to selectively store the present frame pixel data, thereby reducing the power consumption. A memory(120) stores pixel data. When the present frame pixel data inputted from the outside is different from the previous frame pixel data from the memory, a timing controller(110) supplies driving pixel data corresponding to the present frame pixel data to an LCD panel and stores the present frame pixel data to the memory. The timing controller does not store the present frame pixel data to the memory when the present frame pixel data is the same as the previous frame pixel data. The timing controller includes a delay circuit for delaying the present frame pixel data during the predetermined time. A memory controller reads out the previous frame pixel data from the memory. A driving pixel data generator compares the present frame pixel data with the previous frame pixel data and outputs the comparing signal and driving pixel data. The memory controller stores the present frame pixel data in the memory in response to the comparing signal.
