Abstract: The present invention relates to an electronic device for displaying location information of a device and a method for the same. A method for operating a first electronic device which is communicating with a second electronic device includes a step of receiving location tracking information from the second electronic device; a step of determining whether an atmospheric pressure sensed in the second electronic device and an atmospheric pressure within a predetermined range are sensed by analyzing the received location tracking information; and a step of displaying the location information of the second electronic device by comparing the location information which is being received and the received location tracking information when the atmospheric pressure within a predetermined range is sensed.
