무선 네트워크에서 고속 핸드오버를 수행하는 방법 및 장치가 제공된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 네트워크 장치는 새로운 서브넷에 참여하는 경우, 고속 핸드오버 실행 정보를 포함하는 라우터 정보 요청 메시지를 생성하는 패킷 생성부, 상기 생성된 라우터 정보 요청 메시지를 상기 서브넷 내의 라우터로 전송하는 패킷 송신부, 상기 고속 핸드오버 실행 정보에 따라 상기 라우터로부터 주소 생성에 필요한 정보를 포함하는 라우터 광고 메시지를 수신하는 패킷 수신부 및 상기 주소 생성에 필요한 정보를 이용하여 상기 서브넷에서 필요한 주소를 생성하는 판단부를 포함한다. Abstract:
A tunnel service providing system for enabling data communication between heterogeneous networks is provided to receive a message including an address of at least one tunnel router from a tunnel service supporting server and store the address of the tunnel router included in the received message, thereby enabling a user to conveniently set the address of the tunnel router without the necessity of manually changing the address of the tunnel router even when the address of the tunnel router is changed, or a new tunnel router is added. An information providing method comprises the following steps of: generating a message including information about at least one terminal which provides a tunneling function for forming tunnels between nodes located at a second network via a first network(630); and transmitting the generated message to the second node located at the second network which communicates with a first node located at the second network via the first network(650). The first network is an IPv4(Internet protocol version4) network, and the second network is an IPv6(Internet protocol version6) network.

본 발명은 무선 랜 환경에서 MAC 주소를 보안하는 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 MAC 주소 보안 방법은 소정의 암호 알고리즘을 사용하여 암호화된 CGA(Cryptographically Generated Addresses) 주소를 생성하고, 이 CGA 주소로부터 암호화된 MAC 주소를 추출하고, 이 MAC 주소를 사용하여 통신함으로써, MAC 주소의 보안을 강화할 수 있다는 효과가 있다.

본 발명은 무선 랜 환경에서 핸드 오버를 수행하는 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이고, 본 발명에 따른 이동 단말에서의 제 1 핸드오버 수행 방법은 이동 단말을 유선 네트워크로 연결하는 액세스 포인트로부터 수신된 비컨 신호에 포함된 소정의 정보가 액세스 포인트가 서브넷의 경계에 위치함을 나타내는 경계 정보인 지를 확인하는 단계; 및 확인에 기초하여 이동 단말이 위치한 서브넷의 변경에 따른 핸드오버를 선택적으로 수행하는 단계를 포함하며, 이동 노드에게 링크 계층 핸드오버만을 수행할 것인지, 아니면 링크 계층 핸드오버 및 IP 계층 핸드오버를 함께 수행할 것인 지를 결정할 수 있는 정보를 제공함으로서 불필요한 이동 노드와 액세스 라우터의 통신 과정을 제거할 수 있다.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for converting a version of an IP packet are provided to normally convert basic functions defined in RFC(Request For Comments)2765 as well as expansion functions which are not defined in the RFC2765, thereby converting all functions attached to an IPv4 packet or an IPv6 packet. An IPv4 packet header checker(51) checks fields of a header included in a predetermined IPv4 packet. An IPv4 expansion function recognizer(53) recognizes a field where a value for an expansion function is recorded, among the fields of the IPv4 packet header, when a value for showing that the expansion function is attached to the IPv4 packet is recorded in a predetermined field. An IPv4/IPv6 expansion function converter(54) converts the field where the value for the recognized expansion function is recorded into an IPv6 type field corresponding to the field where the value for the expansion function is recorded.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device and a method for configuring an IP(Internet Protocol) address, and a service method using the IP address are provided to automatically configure a unicast address and a multicast address of an IPv(Internet Protocol version)6 host using regional information. CONSTITUTION: A number extractor(102) extracts a number including the regional information. An address generator(104) generates the IP address of the host by inserting the number extracted from the number extractor into a section except a prefix field. If the IP address is the multicast address, the address generator combines with a prefix, the number, and the defined values in order to insert the extracted number after excluding more fields inserted by the values defined when the multicast address is generated.

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for joining the protocol function under IPv4-IPv6 coexistence environment are provided to save the cost of the network construction by improving the address conversion function. CONSTITUTION: A method for joining the protocol function under IPv4-IPv6 coexistence environment includes the steps of: (a) storing the change information between the IPv6 address and the IPv4 address after IPv6 address received from the IPv6 host(210) is converted into the IPv4 address through the NAT-PT; (b) storing the conversion information between the IPv4/IPv6 dual address and the IPv4 address after the IPv4/IPv6 dual address from the IPv4/IPv6 dual host(220) into the IPv4 address of the IPv4 host(240) through the DSTM; and (c) forming the unified mapping table adding the protocol identifying information for each protocol conversion information by connecting the conversion information at the processes (a) and (b) and inverse converting the IPv4 packet received from the IPv4 host(240) into the IPv6/IPv4 dual address and the IPv6 address with reference to the unified mapping table.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method of automatically registering an IP address and a domain name for an IPv6(IP version 6) protocol is provided to automatically register an IP address and a domain name in a DNS server or other hosts if a host which uses the duplicated IP address or the domain name does not exist in a network, thereby automatically storing/managing IPv6 addresses and domain names of each host without duplication. CONSTITUTION: An IPv6 host is turned on(201), and a DAD(Duplicate Address Detection) process is performed(202). The host multicasts an NS(Neighbor Solicitation) message to transmit the NS message(203), and decides whether a DNS server exists(204). If so, the NS message is received through the DNS server(205). The DNS server decides whether a host uses an IP address and a domain name duplicated with an IP address or a domain name of a host transmitted by the NS message(207). If not, the DNS server stores a link local address and the domain name(208), and generates a site local address or a global address(210). The DNS server registers the generated address and the domain name(211), and completes the DAD process(212).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for identifying devices by using an IPv6 address is provided to identify devices by using device ID information for identifying kinds of the devices recorded in the rest unused regions except bit regions, thereby automatically identifying the devices without setting an address. CONSTITUTION: A data structure comprises as follows. A network ID region(410) identifies a network including devices therein. An interface ID region(420) identifies addresses of the devices in the network. The interface ID region comprises as follows. A device ID region(430) identifies kinds of the devices. A company ID region(440) identifies manufacturers of the devices. A serial number region(460) identifies IDs(431-436) of the devices. The device ID region(430) is not included in an unused region of the company ID region(440).
