Abstract: The present invention relates to a hinge device for a door, which has an improved coupling structure between a door and a cabinet, and to a front-loading washer with the same. The front-loading washer comprises: a cabinet; an inlet which is formed on the cabinet; a door which is coupled to the cabinet in order to open or close the inlet; and a hinge device which mediates the coupling between the door and the cabinet. The hinge device comprises: a cabinet bracket which is coupled to the front side of the cabinet; a door bracket which is coupled to the door; and a moving unit including a first moving unit which is coupled to the door bracket in order to rotate the door on the cabinet, and a second moving unit which is coupled to the cabinet bracket, and moves the door so that the door can protrude from the front side of the cabinet and be separated from the cabinet. In the front-loading washer, the door moves toward the front side more than a fixed distance and then the door opens the inlet through rotation. Thus, a user can remove moisture from the inside of a drum before opening the inlet. In addition, even when the size of the door is large, the user can open the door without friction between the door and the cabinet.
