Abstract: A display device and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce power consumption of the display device by minimizing a number of changes in a voltage level of a common voltage signal supplied to a display panel during one frame. A gate voltage signal is sequentially supplied to some gate lines of plural gate lines(G1 to G2n), and then a gate voltage signal is sequentially supplied to the remaining gate lines of the plural gate lines. A common voltage signal in the first step and a common voltage signal in the second step have different logic voltage levels, respectively. The some gate lines of the plural gate lines are odd-numbered gate lines, and the remaining gate lines of the plural gate lines are even-numbered gate lines.
