Abstract: An indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to prevent overturn of the indoor unit in case that force is applied to a front panel in a process of repairing the air conditioner. A front panel(120) is arranged at a front of a main body(110) for opening and shutting the front of the main body. An opening restricting unit is arranged at one side of the main body and the front panel, and restricts opening of the front panel when the front panel is opened. A hinge part is installed at one of the right side and the left side of the front panel for opening and shutting the front panel. The opening restricting unit includes a first fixing element(151) formed at one side of the main body, a second fixing element formed at one side of the front panel, and connecting rings(155) inserted into the fixing elements.
