Abstract: A method and a device for executing an application are disclosed. A method for which the device displays result of executing the application comprises: a step for displaying an object of interest on a screen of the device; a step for acquiring metadata matched to the selected object of interest, upon selection of the object of interest by a user of the device; a step for determining at least one related application matched to the object of interest; a step for executing at least one related application which is determined by using the acquired metadata as input value; and a step for displaying a window displaying an execution result of the related application which is executed using the metadata.
