휴대 단말 장치를 이용한 수면 품질 측정 방법에 있어서, 휴대 단말 장치의 움직임을 감지하는 과정과; 웨이블릿 변환(Wavelet Transform)을 이용하여 상기 감지되는 휴대 단말 장치의 움직임에 따라 발생되는 신호의 노이즈를 제거하는 과정과; 임계값(threshold)에 따라 상기 노이즈 제거된 신호에서 수면(sleep) 상태 및 각성(wake) 상태를 결정하는 과정과; 상기 결정된 수면 상태 및 각성 상태의 개수(시간 또는 임의의 크기를 가지는 상태 구간수의 비율이라고도 함)에 따라 수면 효율을 계산하는 과정을 포함함을 특징으로 한다.

Disclosed is an external device management method by a host terminal, comprising: a step of obtaining measurement information measured in at least one external device; a step of requesting authentication from a management server; a step of transmitting the obtained measurement information to the management server according to the success of authentication; a step of receiving management information for managing at least one external device, which is generated based on measurement information, from the management server; and a step of managing at least one external device based on the received management information. The method is capable of managing at least one external device connected to the host terminal through the management server.
