Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for video shooting in a camera device are provided to allow an image processing unit to transmit ultra high definition images to an application processing unit through the encoding and decoding processes of the images. CONSTITUTION: A method for video shooting in a camera device is as follows. An image processing unit obtains frame images from a camera (515).
