Abstract: A mobile terminal and a method for outputting voice data of the mobile terminal are provided to provide satisfying speech quality when a user performs call communication by setting an audio filter suitable for a language used by the user no matter which language the other party uses. A memory(150) stores audio filter coefficient values for modulating a frequency band of voice data by language type. A controller(160) sets a voice frequency band of one selected from various languages used by users. When voice data is received, the controller modulates a frequency band of the received voice data into the pre-set voice data band. An audio processing unit(130) outputs voice data which has been modulated into the voice frequency band.
