Abstract: A laser scanning apparatus, an image forming apparatus having the same, and a cleaning apparatus for the laser scanning apparatus are provided to improve a cleaning efficiency of the cleaning apparatus by removing pollutants using a pollutant collecting unit. A laser scanning apparatus includes a cover(120), a cleaning device(130), and a guide unit(140). The cover is coupled with a main body of the laser scanning apparatus. At least one optical transparent window is arranged on the cover. The cleaning device is arranged on the cover to be reciprocally moved on the cover. The cleaning device cleanses the transparent window. The guide unit guides the cleaning device, so a cleaning path and a recovery path of the cleaning device have a phase difference from each other. The guide unit includes a pair of guide bumps(141) and a guide rail(142) having lower and upper slanted rails.

Abstract: A laser scanning unit is provided to improve heat radiation of heat-radiating components by combining a circuit board, on which a driving motor and a driver IC(Integrated Circuit) is loaded, with the outer face of a housing. A laser scanning unit includes a light source(110) generating light, a polygon mirror(121), a driving motor(123), a circuit board(125), and a housing(100). The polygon mirror deflects the light emitted from the light source and scans the light on a photosensitive substance. The driving motor rotates the polygon mirror. The polygon mirror and the driving motor are coaxially mounted on one side(125a) of the circuit board. The circuit board is combined with the housing. An opening(100') is formed at the face of the housing, which is combined with the circuit board. The polygon mirror is inserted into the housing through the opening. The other side(125b) of the circuit board is exposed to the outside to function as a heat-radiating plane.

Abstract: A light scanning module having a cleaning shutter for cleaning a laser scanning window and an image forming apparatus having the same are provided to improve a restoring speed of a cleaning shutter after a cleaning process by adjusting interference between a cleaning member and a light scanning window. A light scanning module includes a light scanning unit and a cleaning shutter unit. The light scanning unit includes a light scanning window(311) for scanning light onto a photoresist of a main body. The cleaning shutter unit includes a cleaning member(420) for cleaning the light scanning window and is coupled with a main body in order to be moved between an opening position and a closing position of the light scanning window. The cleaning shutter unit includes a reception part(430) for receiving at least one region of the cleaning member and a rotation control part formed at one side of the cleaning member. The rotation control unit comes in contact with an inner surface of the reception part to suppress the rotation of the cleaning member in a moving state from the closing position to the opening position. The rotation control unit is separated from the inner surface of the reception part to rotate the cleaning member in a moving state from the opening position to the closing position.
