Abstract: A display apparatus is provided to discharge electromagnetic wave and static electricity of a container to a top chassis by conducting electricity from the container to the top chassis, thereby achieving corrosion resistance of the container through an insulation material applied on a surface while improving display quality and reliability of the display apparatus. A container(250) has a bottom(252) and a side wall(251) extended from the bottom to form a containing space, is made of a conductive material covered with an insulating material, and has a conductive area where openings(255,258) are formed adjacent to the side wall so as to expose the conductive material, the conductive material applied on the surface of the container for protection. A display panel(415) receives light and a driving signal from the outside to display an image. A top chassis(490) is assembled with the container for fixing the display panel at the container. Conductive members(270,275) are attached to the conductive area and the top chassis for conducting electricity from the container to the top chassis.
