Abstract: A portable terminal having a metallic housing is provided to enable a first/second housing to be electrically connected, thereby reducing antenna radiation properties from being deteriorated and securing the reliability of the terminal, and making the terminal slim. A portable terminal includes a first housing(101), which is produced by metallic material, and a second housing(102) of metallic material, which is hinge-connected to be rotated away from a folded state facing the first housing(101). The first and second housings(101,102) are electrically connected to each other. A pair of side hinge arms(115) is formed in a state that two hinge arms(115) are separated from each other in one end part of the first housing(101). A center hinge arm(125) is formed in one end part of the second housing(102) and is rotatably connected between the side hinge arms(115).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A stopping device of a folder type mobile phone is provided to allow a user to easily photograph a subject through camera by rotating a folder, which is rotatable according to an operation mode, at a right angle from a main body and fixing it. CONSTITUTION: A hinge device includes a hinge module and a hinge dummy(32). The hinge module is installed at one end of a hinge body(31). The hinge dummy(32) is installed at the other end of the hinge body(31). A pair of side hinge arms(14) is protrusively formed at one end of a main body(10) of a mobile phone. The hinge body(31) includes a hinge hole(31a) to be coupled to the hinge arm(14). The hinge hole(31a) includes an engaging groove at which a stopper is caught to be fixed or released therefrom. The stopper is formed protrusively on the hinge dummy(32), so that when a folder(20) is rotated at a right angle from the main body(10), the stopper is fixed in the engaging groove. When mobile phone is used for a call communication or when the mobile phone is not used, the stopper is released from the engaging groove and remain protruded on the hinge dummy(32) so as to be rotatable.
