Abstract: PURPOSE: An ink jet printer head and a method fabricating the same are provided to safely form a water evaporation coating layer by using a contact printing method when forming a water evaporation layer. CONSTITUTION: An ink jet printer head includes an ink passage, and a nozzle plate. The ink passage is used for supplying ink from an ink storage. The nozzle plate has a plurality of nozzles(122). The nozzles(122) exhaust supplied ink. The ink jet printer has the nozzle plate including a water evaporation layer(141) formed at an upper part of the nozzle plate. The water evaporation layer(141) has a thickness of 10¯30 Angstrom. When forming the water evaporation layer at a surface of the nozzle plate, it is unnecessary to use expensive equipment CVD, and PVD. A method fabricating the ink jet printer head allows the nozzles(122) to be prepared. A surface of the nozzle plate is plasma-oxidized.

Abstract: An ink cartridge for an ink jet printer is provided. The provided ink cartridge has an ink reservoir and a housing for covering the ink reservoir with a negative pressure maintenance unit therebetween, to maintain the inner pressure of the ink reservoir under a negative pressure. Since the negative pressure maintenance unit does not contact ink in the ink reservoir, the negative pressure maintenance unit does not corrode. In addition, the negative pressure maintenance unit is installed between the housing and the ink reservoir while occupying a small space, and thus improving the filling efficiency of ink in the ink reservoir.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A cartridge for an inkjet printer is provided to enhance the ink-charging efficiency and using efficiency of a cartridge in an inkjet printer and to improve inaccuracy in forming ink bubbles by ink flow in a printing process. CONSTITUTION: A cartridge for an inkjet printer consists of a bag(2) filled with ink as well as kept in a case(1), a cover(3) adhered to a side of the bag, and a spring(5) such as a leaf spring mounted in the case to press the cover. The spring has both ends fixed to each mounting groove(4) in the case. The spring is contacted to the cover in compressed states if the sprig is kept in the case. The spring is set to press the cover all the time, and the bag is installed to be pressed by the elasticity of the spring. If the bag is always compressed by the spring, ink in the bag does not flow by acceleration/deceleration of a head. As the spring is fixed to the case, the ink does not flow without regard to operation of the head. Thereby, the ink is rarely changed in pressure. Ink bubbles are generated regularly in a printing process.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus and a control method thereof are provided to apply driving power of a driving source intermittently only when a direction is changed although a direction change state is maintained in one direction. An image forming apparatus comprises a plurality of load units, a selector, and a switch unit(143). In the plural load units, a print media where an image is formed in an image forming unit is loaded. A driving source(141) intermittently applies a direction change signal. The selector selects a transfer path of the print media so as for the print media to be loaded in one of the plural load units. The switch unit is combined with the driving source and linked to a driving signal of the driving source to determine a location of the selector.

Abstract: An inkjet print head can prevent the deformation of the nozzle layer since a filler supports the nozzle layer and can prevent the degradation of the print quality caused by the inflow of foreign materials into the interval of the fillers. An inkjet print head includes a substrate(10) in which an ink feed hole(15) is formed, an ink chamber(21) which is laminated on the substrate and filled with ink, a chamber layer(20) in which a restrictor(23) connecting the ink feed hole and the ink chamber are formed, a nozzle layer(30) which is laminated on the chamber layer with a nozzle(31), a plurality of fillers arranged at certain intervals on the bottom side of the nozzle layer in order to support the nozzle layer laminated on the substrate in which the ink feed hole is formed, and a foreign material inflow prevention unit formed in each filler in order to prevent the foreign material contained in the ink from inflowing into the interval of the fillers.
