Abstract:
본 발명은 미디어 독립 핸드오버를 지원하는 통신시스템에서 인터넷 주소를 할당하기 위한 방법, 장치 및 시스템에 관한 것으로, 미디어 독립 핸드오버((Media Independent Handover: MIH)를 지원하는 통신시스템에서 인터넷 주소를 할당하기 위한 방법에 있어서, MIH 서비스를 통해 이웃 네트워크에 대한 정보를 획득하는 과정과, 상기 이웃 네트워크에 대한 정보를 이용하여 적어도 하나 이상의 NCoA(New Care of Address)를 생성하는 과정과, 상기 생성한 NCoA를 MIH 서비스를 통해 후보 네트워크로 전송하는 과정과, 상기 NCoA에 대해 주소 중복 검사(Duplicate Address Detection: DAD)를 수행하는 과정을 포함하여, IPv6 계층에서 DAD를 수행함으로써 걸리는 지연을 방지하여 끊김없는 핸드오버를 지원할 수 있는 이점이 있다. 이종망, 미디어 독립 핸드오버(Media Independent Handover: MIH), 주소 중복 검사(Duplicate Address Detection: DAD), IPv6, NCoA(New Care of Address).
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for handover between heterogenous networks in a wireless communication system are provided to perform handover between heterogenous networks by using a medium independent handover technique based on a proxy mobile IPv6. It is checked whether candidate target networks which a terminal(200) selects support handover of the terminal in a serving network(210). The terminal selects a target network(220) for handover between heterogeneous networks. The serving network requests handover to the target network between the heterogenous networks of the terminal. If handover is requested in the serving network, the target network obtains a profile of the terminal from a policy storage unit.
Abstract:
A system and a method for transmitting/receiving a terminal address in a wireless communication system are provided to inform a gateway about a terminal address generated by an MS(Mobile Station) without performing a repeated address detection method. An MS(110) generates a terminal address and transmits it to an ASN GW(Access Service Network-GateWay)(130) via the second layer message used in the second layer. The ASN GW receives the terminal address via a tunnel, and transmits a terminal address reception acknowledge message indicating that the terminal address has been received to the terminal via the second layer message. The terminal address is an IPv6(Internet Protocol version 6). The second layer message is an MAC(Medium Access Control) message. A BS(120) receives the terminal address from the MS to the ASN GW, and receives the terminal address reception acknowledgement message and transmits it to the MS.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for acquiring a cell identifier by a source cell in a radio communication system. The method comprises the following steps: receiving information about a new cell from user equipment (UE) in the source cell; acquiring an evolved universal terrestrial radio access (ETURA) cell global identifier (ECGI) of the new cell from the UE if it is determined, based on the information about the new cell, that there is no neighbor relationship with the new cell; determining whether a public land mobile network identifier (PLMN ID) in the ECGI is included in a mapping table between a primary PLMN and a shared PLMN; and acquiring an X2 internet protocol (IP) address of the new cell from an evolved packet core (EPC) according to a result of the determination.
Abstract:
A paging performance device for a receiving service in a wireless communication system and a method are provided to perform a paging process without using a network address for a terminal which returns the network address when switching to an idle mode, thereby offering a receiving service to the terminal which is not allocated with the network address. When a terminal(301) transfers to an idle mode, paging information of the terminal(301) which returns a network address is stored(321-333). If call reception occurs in the terminal(301), the paging information of the terminal(301) is confirmed by using an MAC(Medium Access Control) address of the terminal(301) to transmit a control signal so that the terminal(301) performs a paging process(335). If the terminal(301) enters a network, a call reception signal is transmitted to the terminal(301)(337).
