Abstract: An array-type image forming device and an image compensation method thereof are provided to prevent the deterioration of the picture quality by compensating a duty rate of a fire strobe pulse operating a nozzle based on determined picture concentration. An array-type image forming device comprises: an image density determining unit(222) determining the picture concentration of each print line of the page inside; a storage(210) storing a critical value for the compensation determination of the image; and a controller(230) compensating for the image by comparing the picture concentration of each print line of the page inside and a critical value. Abstract: PURPOSE: A printing method is provided to print into a mono image by mixing three colors even in a state of installing a color cartridge when a complex machine receives fax data. CONSTITUTION: A transmitted fax data is received, and the kind of the installed cartridge is judged.
