Abstract: A method for displaying a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) on a waiting screen and a terminal thereof are provided to add an entertainment element into a user interface of the DMB. At the power supply state, a process for discriminating whether a sub body is opened at a main body is performed(600). If the sub body is opened at the main body, the control member is connected with a broadcasting service and receives broadcasting data through a digital broadcasting receiving member. When a broadcasting service is connected, the control member displays the broadcasting on a waiting screen(610) together with a character broadcasting if necessary. The control member discriminates whether the sub body is closed(615). If the sub body is closed, the broadcasting service connection is cancelled(620).

Abstract: 본 발명은 이동통신 단말기에서 부팅 알람 모드 변경을 위한 장치 및 방법을 제공한다. 이를 위해 본 발명은 진동을 통해 부팅 완료 알람을 알리기 위한 진동 부팅 알람 모드키와, LED를 이용한 빛을 통해 부팅 알람을 알리기 위한 무음 부팅 알람 모드키와 같은 부팅 알람 모드키가 구비된 키 입력부와, 전원이 온 되었을 경우 전원 온/오프 키와 동시에 입력된 부팅 알람 모드키가 입력되었는지를 체크하고, 만약 상기 부팅 알람 모드키가 입력되었을 경우 입력된 부팅 알람 모드키에 대응되는 부팅 알람 모드로 부팅이 완료를 알리는 제어부를 구비한다. 이에 따라 이동통신 단말기의 전원이 오프되기 전에 기 설정되어 있던 부팅 알람 모드와 상관없이 사용자가 원하는 부팅 알람 모드를 사용하여 이동통신 단말기의 부팅 완료를 알리는 알람이 이루어질 수 있도록 한다.
