PURPOSE: A semiconductor integrated circuit, an adaptive power supply device according to the characteristics of the semiconductor integrated circuit, a power supply method, an electronic device including the same, and a manufacturing method of the semiconductor integrated circuit are provided to adaptively supply power by checking the characteristics of the semiconductor integrated circuit, thereby freely setting a power supply specification. PURPOSE: An audio output control method and a digital device applying the same are provided to transfer an audio signal to various kinds of audio output devices through one audio output terminal. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(150) decides the kind of an audio output device connected to an audio output terminal(131-5). If the audio output device is a first audio output device, the control unit adjusts the output level of the audio signal to a first level through the control of an audio processing unit(125). If the audio output device is a second audio output device, the control unit adjusts the output level of the audio signal to a second level through the control of the audio processing unit.

PURPOSE: A method for correcting a color and an apparatus thereof are provided to perform color space conversion by applying anotheran additional color matrix to a color if the brightness of an image is changed, thereby dynamically correcting a color. CONSTITUTION: A brightness histogram generator(132) generates a brightness histogram from an image signal. A color matrix determining unit(136) determines a color matrix corresponding to the brightness information of the brightness histogram. A color space converting unit performs color space conversion. RGB signals are outputted through the color space conversion.

A broadcasting receiving apparatus for providing a fixed channel and a method thereof are provided to offer the fixed channel to a user even when the channel of a broadcast program is arbitrarily changed, thereby removing inconvenience that a user has to reset a channel one by one. A broadcasting receiving apparatus(100) comprises a storage unit(170) and a control unit(180). The storage unit stores at least one channel mapped to a channel frequency corresponding to each channel. The control unit remaps the channel frequency of a changed channel to a channel stored in the storage unit and stores the channel frequency when it is determined that the stored channel is changed. The storage unit stores additionally channel ID(Identification Data) including channel information about each channel. The channel ID is mapped to at least one channel.

An image apparatus for compensating frames by using motion detection and a frame compensating method of the apparatus are provided to perform frame compensation once for 1000 frames to make one cycle have total 1001 frames to prevent flickering. A first image having a first frequency is stored frame by frame(S210). The number of stored frames is counted(S220). Motion is detected from the stored frames. When the counted number of frames reaches a predetermined number, a frame of a still image or a frame of an image having small motion is detected from the stored frames(S230). The first image is compensated by using the detected frame to generate a second image having a second frequency(S240). The first frequency is 59.94Hz and the second frequency is 60Hz.

The present invention relates to an electronic device and a method of controlling the same. The electronic device comprises an operation performing unit for performing a predetermined operation; a first main control unit for controlling the operation of the operation performing unit in a normal mode and changing to a power saving state in a standby mode; an input receiving unit for receiving an input signal; a second main control unit which can perform a process concerned with the input signal and which changes to a power saving state in the standby mode; and a sub-control unit for controlling the device such that the second main control unit performs the process of the input signal when the input signal is received in the standby mode. The second main control unit performs the process concerned with the received input signal corresponding to the control of the sub-control unit, controls the first main control unit such that the first main control unit is operated in a normal mode if the input signal corresponds to normal mode entry, and if not, returns to the power saving state in the standby mode. Thus, power consumption is minimized in the standby mode, and an operation of entering into the normal mode may be performed in response to various inputs.
Abstract:
A GUI providing method and an imaging device adopting the same are provided to enable a user to manipulate a GUI by using a user input device such as a remote controller, more easily, conveniently and intuitively. A DTV(Digital Television) receives/outputs a broadcasting program to a user(S310). When a menu screen call instruction is inputted from the user(S320), a control unit controls a GUI generating unit so that a menu screen can be displayed(S330). If a user selects a desired menu item on the menu screen(S340), the control unit determines whether a menu screen which is subordinate to the selected menu item exists or not(S350). The control unit controls the GUI generating unit so that the menu screen can be displayed(S360).
