PURPOSE: A system restoring method and a device using visualization are provided to enable a user to continuously use the system without log-off for the system restore. CONSTITUTION: A storage layer(130) stores a plurality of restore points. An application layer(110) requests the system use. The application layer requests the system restore in the point of the target restore among a plurality of restore points. When the system restore is requested, an operating system layer(120) generates a visualization layer. When the system use is requested, the OS layer performs the system restore at the point of the target restore using the visualization layer.
Abstract:
A method and a system for transmitting and receiving data are provided to improve transmission efficiency by controlling a transmission mode and an encoding mode according to the transmission state of a wireless network and importance of video information. State information of a wireless network is received(S701). Data to be transmitted are classified based on the state information(S702). Transmission data to which information for recovering an error is added when the error is generated in the classified data are encoded. A decision factor for transmitting the transmission data to the wireless network is set according to the state information. The encoded transmission data is transmitted to the wireless network according to the set result(S730).

An apparatus (100) and method for transmitting a multimedia data stream are provided. The apparatus includes a data source unit (110) to output the data stream; a frame dividing unit (120) to divide the data stream according to a type of a video frame included in the data stream and to output the divided data stream; a parameter control unit (140) to select a parameter set for separate transmission control of the divided data stream using parameters for controlling a transmission layer; and a network interface unit (130) to control transmission of the divided data stream using the parameter set. The method includes dividing the data stream according to a type of a video frame; selecting a parameter set for separate transmission control of the divided data stream; and controlling transmission of the divided data stream using the selected parameter set.

A multimedia streaming transmission apparatus and method are provided to control a parameter of a MAC layer by reflecting characteristics of data desired to be transmitted in various multimedia data communication devices. A data source unit(110) outputs a multimedia data stream. A frame separating unit(120) separates and outputs the data stream according to the type of a video frame included in the data stream. A parameter controller(140) selects a parameter set for controlling individual transmission of the separated data streams by using a parameter for controlling a transmission layer and outputs it. A network interface unit(130) controls transmission of the separated data streams by the selected parameter set.

본 발명에 따라 소프트웨어 이동 장치와 로컬 호스트간에 상호 인증하는 방법 및 I/O 채널 형성 방법 및 그 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따라 소프트웨어 이동 장치와 로컬 호스트간에 상호 인증하는 방법은, 로컬 호스트의 무결성 값이 저장된 인증서를 요청하여 수신하는 단계와, 상기 로컬 호스트에서 측정한 무결성 값을 수신하고, 상기 수신된 측정한 무결성 값과 상기 인증서내의 무결성 값을 비교하여 검증하는 단계와, 상기 로컬 호스트가 검증되면 상기 장치의 보안 프로파일을 암호화하여 전송하는 단계를 포함한다.

PURPOSE: A method for voltage scaling in a mobile terminal is provided to reduce the power consumption of the mobile terminal by lowering the operation clock of the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: If a regeneration of a moving picture is requested, a controller gets a motion vector of the requested moving picture(S204). According to the obtained moving picture motion vector, the controller confirms the frame skip of the moving picture(S205). If the frame skip of the moving picture is possible, the operating voltage is supplied to the controller. Therefore, the mobile terminal is operated in the low clock. The controller reproduces the moving picture after the skip of the predetermined frame(S206,S207).

A method and an apparatus of inputting/outputting data using virtualization technique are provided to store data in a virtual storage or an memory of an external device due to a request for data input/output of a virtual operating system. A virtual operating system for an external device is generated based on the operation system information stored in the external device connected to a host(51). A partial area of the storage of the host is set up as a virtual storage for the external device(52). According to data input/output request of the virtual operating system, data are stored in either the memory of the virtual storage or the external device(53). Comparing the required time to store data in the virtual storage with the time consumed to store data in the memory, the storage location is determined.

A memory access control method is provided to protect a memory region effectively, allocated to a guest operating system operated in an unprivileged mode of a processor, from an application operated in an unprivileged mode by controlling memory access according to the unit of a memory region or a page. A memory access control method comprises the following several steps. A page table is set up for expressing accessibility to a memory in accordance with a mode of a processor by mapping a virtual address with a physical address(51). The accessibility to the memory in accordance with the virtual mode is set up by the unit of the memory region(52). Access of the processor to the memory is controlled according to the unit of the page or the memory region(53).
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for controlling a parameter in a wireless data streaming system are provided to improve wireless data transmission service by adaptively changing the parameter according to a variable wireless channel. In a method for controlling a parameter in a wireless data streaming system, a value of a first parameter controllable in a packet unit is controlled according to the transmission state of a packet in the data stream. Statistical information of the first parameter used in transmitting packets is calculated after the packets are transmitted. A value of a second parameter set in a plurality of packet units is controlled by considering statistical information and QoS(Quality of Service) of the calculated first parameter.
