PURPOSE: A receiving device for receiving multiple signals through different paths and a signal processing method thereof are provided to receive multiple signals transmitted through different networks and to synchronize the multiple signals. CONSTITUTION: A first receiving unit (210) receives a first signal through a radio frequency (RF) broadcast network. A second receiving unit (220) receives a second signal through an internet protocol (IP) communications network. A signal processing unit (230) detects synchronization type information from at least one signal of the first signal and the second signal. The signal processing unit selects synchronization information corresponding to the synchronization type information in the synchronization information included in the first signal and the second signal. The signal processing unit synchronizes the first signal and the second signal according to selected synchronization information. PURPOSE: A transmitting device, a receiving device, and a transmitting/receiving method are provided to effectively implement signaling for multimedia data transmitted through a transmission route which is different from an existed broadcast network. The first transmission data includes first synchronization information for synchronization of first multimedia data and second multimedia data; first signaling data for the first multimedia data; and second signaling data for the second multimedia data. CONSTITUTION: A data processing unit(240) receives real time data. The data processing unit detects non-real time data. The data processing unit combines the detected non-real time data with the received real time data. The data processing unit outputs multimedia content. PURPOSE: A method for enabling a sync apparatus to transmit and receive relation data and multimedia service data through a display interface, source apparatus thereof, and sync apparatus thereof are provided to offer a multimedia service using the source apparatus of the display interface. CONSTITUTION: A media data creation unit(110) creates non-compression media data from medias in which are provided by a multi media service. A playback information determination unit(120) determines media playback information which includes media feature information. A synchronization apparatus acquires the media feature information in order to the playback of the media. PURPOSE: A portable storage device with a UI and a UI control method thereof are provided to install a simple UI which frequently uses in an application in the outside, thereby transceiving UI information with a host. 시간 기반의 줄거리 정보를 제공하는 컨텐츠의 줄거리 정보 제공 방법 및 장치가 개시되어 있다. 본 발명은 컨텐츠의 줄거리 제공 방법에 있어서, 컨텐츠 재생중에 줄거리 정보를 요청 받으면 소정 단위 마다 기록된 시간 정보를 기반으로 줄거리 정보 요청 시간을 추출하는 과정, 요청된 줄거리 정보에 해당하는 시간 기반의 메타 데이터가 존재하는 가를 체크하는 과정, 시간 기반의 메타 데이터가 존재하면 상기 요청된 시간 이전 까지의 줄거리 정보를 추출하여 디스플레이하는 과정을 포함한다.
