Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for generating a functional blood flow image by using plane waves and a device thereof are provided to estimate a cardiac cycle by using only an imaged signal without an electrocardiogram signal, thereby improving the accuracy of a diagnosis. CONSTITUTION: A transducer (220) transmits a plane wave to an object and receives an ultrasonic signal reflected from the object. A receiving beam collection unit (230) collects beams by applying a receiving time delay to the ultrasonic signal. An orthogonal demodulation unit (250) generates an in-phase component and a quadrature component from signals including the beams. A speed calculation unit (263) calculates blood flow speed at an image point of a 2D image. A mapping unit (280) maps the blood flow speed to the image point. A display unit displays the blood flow speed. Abstract: 영상내의관심영역을고려한적응적의료영상송신장치및 방법에관한것으로, 원격(remote) 의료영상장치가의료영상을전송하는방법은, 프로브(probe)를이용하여의료영상을생성하고, 생성된의료영상에관심영역(region of interest, ROI)을설정하고, 설정된관심영역으로부터의거리에따라적어도하나이상의영역을분할하고, 분할된영역에대하여차등적인영상데이터감축기법을적용하여각 분할영역별로감축된영상데이터를생성하며, 감축된영상데이터를로컬(local) 의료영상장치에전송한다.
