Abstract: PURPOSE: A DNS(Domain Name Server) address setting method and a device thereof are provided to accurately set a DNS address when a terminal does not obtain the DNS address from the outside. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(210) connects to a network. When the connection of the network is established, a DNS address acquisition unit(261) try to acquire a DNS address from the network. When a DNS address setting unit(262) does not acquire the DNS address, a terminal sets a reserve DNS address as the DNS address of the terminal. A storage unit(250) stores the reserve DNS address.
