    Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for automatically setting a channel are provided to perform automatic channel setting of the slave node when installing a slave node or changing master node channel information in a mobile communication system, thereby increasing the convenience of operating communication network and reducing the cost of operation. CONSTITUTION: A modem(710) performs communication with a master node. A slave slot manager(740) changes a time slot in a range which is changeable and inspects the opening of LCP session at the same time. If the LCP session is opened, the slave slot manager performs IPCP connection. A master slot manager uses the set time slot to inspect opening of the LCP session. If the LCP session is opened, the master slot manager performs the IPCP connection.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for diagnosing a state of a call processing system in a mobile communication system is provided to diagnose LDVS(Low Voltage Differential Signal) links and boards and switch the LDVS links of boards having troubles, thereby securing the reliability of IPC(Inter Processor Communication). CONSTITUTION: A plurality of BCP(Basic Call Process)s(310,330) and a plurality of CIP(Call Information Process)s(320,340) are connected with one another for transmitting and receiving data. One BCP transmitting data is an active BCP(310). The other BCP which is in a standby state is a standby BCP(330). One CIP receiving data is an active CIP(320). The other CIP which is in a standby state is a standby CIP(340). If a state of the active BCP(310) or state of a link connected with the active CIP(320) is abnormal, the active BCP(310) is changed by the standby BCP(330). If a state of the active CIP(320) or state of a link connected with the active BCP(310) is abnormal, the active CIP(320) is changed by the standby CIP(340).
