Abstract: PURPOSE: A synthetic aperture beam convergence system using a phase rotating beam former is provided to reduce complexity of the system and improve resolution by using a synthetic aperture beam convergence method. CONSTITUTION: A synthetic aperture beam convergence system (100) using a phase rotating beam former comprises a plurality of partial PR beam formers (110) and PR SA memories (120). A plurality of the partial PR beam formers individually generates a same phase component and a vertical phase component applying the delay of phase rotation by channel data. The PR SA memories receive each of the same phase component and the vertical phase component from the partial PR beam formers. The same phase component and the vertical phase component which the partial PR beam former outputs are stored in the PR SA memory by being added with the same phase component and the vertical phase component which other part PR beam former (111) outputs.
