Abstract: The present invention relates to medical prosthetic implants with partially coated surfaces, and a surface of the prosthetic implants is characterized in that one or more flat surface parts are partially coated with bio-synthetic materials and bioactivity materials are mounted on the partially coated surfaces. The partially coated prosthetic implants according to the present invention complement a disadvantage that coated surface easily peels off by mechanical stress applied to a bending surface from front surface coating and control drug delivery as a drug rapidly spread at the very beginning from a partially coated surface whereby an effect can be shown within a reasonable period of time required for the front surface of the implant. In case of two or more kinds of drug delivery, preferable drugs are easily selected from a selected part thereby maximizing a regional effect of drugs. [Reference numerals] (AA) Front side
