Abstract: PURPOSE: A primer set for selecting the species of PMMoV resistant Capsicum annuum is provided to effectively select and grow Capsicum annuum with PMMoV resistance. CONSTITUTION: An oligonucleotide primer set for selecting the species of Capsicum annuum with PMMoV(Pepper mild mottle virus) resistance contains: a primer set of sequence number 1 and 2; a primer set of sequence number 7 and 8; or a primer set of sequence number 7 and 9. A kit for selecting the species of Capsicum annuum with PMMoV resistance contains the oligonucleotide primer set and reagent for amplification. The reagent includes DNA polymerase, dNTPs, and buffer.
