Abstract: PURPOSE: A modeling method for roof members of a Korean style house by parametric operation is provided to develop a logical shape model of the Korean style house by set sizes determining a shape of the roof members as a parameter and defining relations with various functions. CONSTITUTION: Sizes of roof members are set as independent and subordinate parameters. A partial shape of the roof members is determined with a function formula changing the independent and subordinate parameters. A partial shape of a second roof member is determined by setting a mutual relation change of a first roof member, setting a size of the second roof member as a subordinate parameter, and using the formula changing the independent and subordinate parameters.
