    Abstract: PURPOSE: A slider cooler which makes rapid heating and cooling possible and a thermo-mechanic apparatus for testing fatigue with a furnace are provided to rapidly heat a test piece by maintaining the fixed temperature of the test piece during the test. CONSTITUTION: A slider cooler comprises a test holder(30), heating furnaces(20a,20b), a guide unit(42), an air blast cooling device(50) and a pneumatic cylinder(40). The heating furnace is fixed between a trial holder and a tester connection unit(32). The heating furnace is formed in order to protect a test piece(10) toward the center of the slider cooler. The heating furnace comprises an inlet hole(22) punched on the test piece. The guide unit is horizontally formed to the test piece. The air blast cooling device is carried by the guide unit to the test piece. The air blast cooling device comprises a spray hole(52) which cools the test piece. The pneumatic cylinder is integrated with one end of the air blast cooling device.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A cooler of a thermal gradient fatigue testing machine using a furnace, which directly cools using a convection mode, is provided to detect the temperature of a test piece on a real time basis by forming a thermocouple insertion hole on a test piece. CONSTITUTION: A cooler of a thermal gradient fatigue testing machine using a furnace comprises a test piece(16), a specimen holder(20), a movable refractory pipe(50) and a cooling pipe(40). The specimen holder is formed in order to fix the outer circumference of the test piece. The specimen holder is fixedly inserted in the upper side of the movable refractory pipe. The fitting hole and an exhaust hole are formed on the other end of the movable refractory pipe. The cooling pipe is fixedly inserted to the fitting hole. The end part of the cooling pipe is located on the lower-part of the test piece at a regular interval.
