    Abstract: 본 발명은, 기계적 특성, 표면 정밀도가 우수한 마그네슘 합금 주조재, 압연재와 같은 마그네슘 합금재, 이들을 안정적으로 제조할 수 있는 마그네슘 합금재의 제조방법, 상기 압연재를 이용한 마그네슘 합금 성형품, 및 그 제조방법을 제공한다.
    마그네슘 합금을 용해로에서 용해해서 용탕으로 하는 용해공정과, 상기 용해로로부터 용탕을 용탕저류조로 이송하는 이송공정과, 상기 용탕저류조로부터 주탕구를 개재해서 가동 주형에 용탕을 공급해서 응고시키고, 주조재를 연속적으로 제조하는 주조공정을 구비하는 마그네슘 합금재의 제조방법이다. 용해공정으로부터 주조공정에 걸치는 공정에 있어서 용탕이 접촉하는 부분은, 산소의 함유량이 20질량%이하인 저산소재료로 형성된 부재를 이용한다. 주조재의 두께는, O.1㎜이상 1O.O㎜이하로 함으로써, 기계적 특성, 표면 정밀도가 우수한 마그네슘 합금 주조재, 압연재와 같은 마그네슘 합금재를 제공하는 것을 특징으로 한 것이다.

    Abstract: A casting nozzle suitable for production of cast materials of pure magnesium and magnesium alloys. Nozzle (1) is used to feed a molten material between rolls (10) as a casting mold to thereby produce cast material (100), and arranged so that pouring port (4) is positioned between a pair of rolls (10) disposed opposite to each other. This nozzle (1) comprises main body (1a) of an oxide material, such as alumina, and coating layer (3) of a material substantially not containing oxygen, the coating layer (3) superimposed on an inner circumferential surface of the main body (1a) brought into contact with molten material. The main body (1a), as it is not brought into direct contact with molten material by means of the coating layer (3), can avoid any reaction of oxygen contained in the main body (1a) with molten material. Further, casting mold contact portion (2) of the nozzle (1) brought into contact with the rolls (10) is constituted of a heat-insulating material, so that cooling of the molten material within the nozzle (1) by the rolls (10) via the casting mold contact portion (2) can be avoided.

    Abstract: A method for producing a magnesium alloy product, which has a melting step of melting a magnesium alloy in a melting furnace to form a molten alloy, a transporting step of transporting the molten alloy from the above melting furnace to a molten alloy storing vessel, and a casting step of supplying the molten alloy from the molten alloy storing vessel to a movable mold via a port for pouring a molten alloy, to solidify the molten alloy and continuously form a cast article, wherein the parts contacting with the molten alloy in the steps from the melting step to the casting step are manufactured from a member made of a low oxygen material having an oxygen content of 20 mass % or less, and wherein the cast article has a thickness of 0.1 to 10 mm; a magnesium alloy product such as a cast product or a rolled product produced through the above method; and an magnesium alloy formed article using the above rolled product and a method for producing the formed article.
