Abstract:
PURPOSE: A carbon monoxide/olefin copolymer catalyst and a suspension/polymerization process using the same are provided to control particle shape into spherical or granular form. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing polyketone comprises: a step of dissolving a compound of chemical formula 1 in organic solvent and dispersing the prepared solution into water; and a step of suspension polymerizing the monoxide and olefin of 2-20 carbon atoms. The water contains suspension stabilizing agent including polyvinyl pyrrolidone(PVP), poly[(vinyl alcohol)-co-(vinyl acetate)], natural gum, cellulose ether, or cellulose ester.

PURPOSE: A novel ligand derived from tetrahydroquinoline derivative and transition metal compound are provided to ensure high activity than unfused catalyst and to obtain a polymer with higher molecular weight. CONSTITUTION: A transition metal compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. A method for preparing the transition metal compound precursor of chemical formula 2 comprises: a step of reacting tetrahydroquinoline derivative of chemical formula 3 with alkyl lithium and adding carbon dioxide to obtain a compound of chemical formula 4; and a step of reacting alkyl lithium with the compound of chemical formula 4 and adding a compound of chemical formula 5.
