Abstract:
The present invention provides an Evolved Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service (EMBMS) access gateway supporting network multicast, comprising: receiving/responding means for receiving a Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service (MBMS) Session Start message from a Broadcast/Multicast-Service Center (BM-SC) and for returning a response message to the BM-SC after receiving the MBMS Session Start message; storage means for storing a mapping relationship between respective MBMS service areas (SAs) and respective base stations; determining means for determining base station(s) associated with the MBMS based on the stored mapping relationship when the receiving/responding means receives the MBMS Session Start message; and transmitting means for transmitting the MBMS Session Start message to the determined bases station(s).
Abstract:
A Method of transmitting MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast Multicast System) data based on cell grouping, which includes: Coding and modulating the MBMS data; choosing dedicated scrambling codes of cell group; choosing dedicated scrambling codes of cell; scrambling the coded and modulated MBMS data with the dedicated scrambling codes of cell group, and adding reference signal scrambled with the dedicated scrambling codes of cell group and the dedicated scrambling codes of cell; transmitting the scrambled reference signal and MBMS data. Using the invention, user terminals could do the RF combination easily, or do the RF combination and soft combination at the same time, consequently to get the diversity gain.
Abstract:
A method for establishing a service in a first frequency in a communication network, in which the first frequency doesn't support the service or supports it with limitation, comprises the following steps: the service to be established is determined; and a second frequency that is suitable for the service is re-chosen or redirected, so that the service is proceeded in the second frequency; A user device and network device is used for establishing a service in a first frequency in a communication network, in which the first frequency doesn't support the service or supports it with limitation. Preferably, a non-MBMS service is established in a MBMS special frequency, so that a non-MBMS service is proceeded in a normal frequency.
