Abstract: PURPOSE: A movable charging system for an electric vehicle using a distribution line and an operating method thereof are provided to improve a charging service by arranging a mobile charging station in a place where charge is needed. CONSTITUTION: A power supply apparatus(30) is moved and installed while being loaded on a mobile vehicle. The power supply apparatus charges an electric vehicle by receiving power from a distribution line(10) of an electric pole. The power supply apparatus meters power supplied for charging and charges. A power cable is connected to the distribution line. A cable guide unit(20) guides the power cable to the power supply apparatus and installs temporarily.
