Abstract: PURPOSE: A channel information generating device for a space division multiplexing technique in a wireless communication system, a method thereof, a data transmission device and a method thereof are provided to feed index information for an optimum matrix among matrixes pre-stored in a code book back to a transmitter of the other party. CONSTITUTION: A code book storage unit(430) is a pre-defined code book. A channel correlation information calculating unit(410) receives channel information corresponding to a subcarrier, and calculates the channel correlation coefficient information between subcarriers based on the received channel information. An index calculating unit(420) calculates an index for the optimum matrix among matrixes stored in the code book storage unit based on the channel information, channel correlation coefficient information and code book.
