Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a natural composition for repelling mosquitoes, in particular, containing a Cinnamomum sieboldii extract and one of trans-cinnamaldehyde, cinnamyl alcohol and its derivatives. It repels mosquitoes harmlessly to the human body. CONSTITUTION: A natural composition for repelling mosquitoes is characterized by containing a Cinnamomum sieboldii extract, wherein the extract is one of MeOH crude extract of Cinnamomum sieboldii, its hexene or chloroform fraction, or Cinnamomum sieboldii oil. It further contains at least one selected from the group consisting of trans-cinnamaldehyde, cinnamyl alcohol and its derivatives.
