    Abstract: An artificial bone filling agent using calcium pyrophosphate compound and a manufacturing method for the same are provided to obtain an artificial bone filling agent having a high sintering density. A manufacturing method of an artificial bone filling agent using calcium pyrophosphate compound includes the steps of: mixing at least one kind of compound selected from a group consisting of a calcium phosphate, a magnesium compound, a zirconium compound and a strontium oxide and a silicon compound; performing heat treatment of the mixture; pressurizing and molding the mixture for molding the mixture as a porous material; and sintering the molded molding material at more than 1,120deg.C. The heat treatment is performed at 900 to 1,100deg.C.
