Abstract: PURPOSE: An efficient seawater using method for industrials processes is provided to recycle heat from wasted exhaust gas and cost-effectively implement a desalinating process based on recycled heat source. CONSTITUTION: Coolant(11) at high temperature undergoes an indirect heat-exchanging process with respect to seawater at low temperature. The temperature of the seawater is raised. The wasted exhaust gas(21) is cooled using the seawater at raised temperature. The temperature seawater is further raised. The seawater at raised temperature is used as heat source for a desalinating process. Concentrated water(32) is discharged from the desalinating process.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for inhibiting corrosion of special steel manufacturing process facility by recycling wastewater containing hexavalent chrome generated in the special steel manufacturing process as cooling water is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a step of removing solid particle constituents having a particle diameter of 50 μm or more by coagulating, precipitating and filtering wastewater containing hexavalent chrome discharged from the special steel manufacturing process using coagulant; and mixing the solid particle removed wastewater containing hexavalent chrome with cooling water of the special steel manufacturing process so that the mixed cooling water contains 1 to 4 ppm of hexavalent chrome constituent, thereby giving anti-corrosion power to the cooling water, wherein the wastewater containing hexavalent chrome is discharged from the manufacturing process of electrical steel sheet, tin plate or stainless steel, wherein aluminum sulfate as the coagulant is injected to a concentration of 5 to 30 ppm into the wastewater, and wherein the solid particle constituents have a particle diameter of 50 to 400 μm.

Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a treatment method for cooling water in recirculating cooling water system, which is to inject microorganism germicide and improved coagulants into the fore part of a settling tank and a corrosion inhibiting agent into the fore part of a cooling tower. CONSTITUTION: The cooling system comprises a cooling tower(1), the fore part of a settling tank(2), the settling tank(3), a filter(4) and the fore part of the cooling tower(5). 상기 세정기에 포집된 미분탄을 세정수로 세척후 저장한 다음 활성오니 공정의 폭기조에 투입하여 폐수 처리 효율을 높이는 단계; 및
상기 폭기조에 투입하는 미분탄의 양이 부족할 경우에는 활성탄 흡착탑에서 이미 미생물에 적응하여 미생물 군집을 이루고 있는 활성탄을 필요로 하는 양만큼 꺼내어 분쇄시켜 폭기조에 투입하는 단계; 로 이루어지는 폐수처리 방법이 제공된다.
본 발명에 의하면, 처리 효율을 높이고, 활성오니 공정의 안정화를 기할 수 있는 분말 활성탄의 폭기조 투입 방법을 추가 비용 발생없이 도입할 수 있다.
