Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for regulating drought tolerance and ABA sensitivity in a plant using Arabidopsis thaliana-derived MYB52 gene is provided to obtain a transgenic plant with drought tolerance. CONSTITUTION: A method for enhancing drought tolerance in a plant comprises a step of transforming plant cells with a recombinant vector containing Arabidopsis thaliana-derived MYB52(myb domain protein 52) gene and a step of overexpressing the gene. The gene has a base of sequence number 1. A method for producing a transgenic plant with enhanced drought tolerance comprises: a step of a step of transforming plant cells with the recombinant vector; and a step of redifferentiating plants from the transformed plant cells. The transgenic plant is a dicotyledonous plant. A composition for enhancing drought tolerance in a plant contains the gene.

Abstract: A PAS-flagellin recombinant fusion protein is provided to improve toll-like receptor-5(TLR5) stimulating activity by inhibiting polymerization of flagellin molecules, thereby enhancing the unique flagellin activity. A plasmid for producing a PAS-flagellin recombinant fusion protein includes a PAS gene of SEQ ID : NO. 1 and a flagellin gene of SEQ ID : NO. 3 and has a linkage map depicted in Fig. 1. A PAS-flagellin recombinant fusion protein is produced by the plasmid and is described as SEQ ID : NO. 6. A vaccine adjuvant comprises the PAS-flagellin recombinant fusion protein as an effective ingredient.
