Abstract: PURPOSE: A high-speed resonance point tracking method and an induction heating system using the method provide the maximum efficiency of induction heating by rapidly tracking a resonant frequency. CONSTITUTION: Power is supplied to a load terminal (40) by operating an inverter part (30) according to a predetermined frequency during a predetermined time. A sensing part (50) detects the voltage waveform and current waveform of the load terminal and transmits a detection signal to a control part (20). The control part generates a square wave pulse signal according to the comparison of the voltage waveform and current waveform transmitted from the control part and the ground. The inverter part is operated according to an arbitrary frequency during a predetermined time before the square wave pulse signal is generated by the comparison of the detection signal and the ground. The inverter part is operated by a switching signal according to the square wave pulse signal caused by the comparison of the sensed detection signal and the ground after a predetermined time passes.
