The present invention relates to a method to control a hot water system. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method to control a hot water system includes a step of checking a control mode of a hot water system. Then, if the control mode is an instant heating type control mode, an instant heating control (S100) to control the hot water system is performed to instantaneously heat and discharge water in the hot water tank when the hot water discharge command is inputted. If the control mode is a hot water storage type control mode, a hot water storage type control (S200) to control the hot water system is performed to maintain the water in the hot water tank above a target hot water temperature regardless of the hot water discharging command. According to the present invention, the method to control a hot water system can reduce the power consumption and discharge sufficient hot water in a short time by performing the instant heating control and the hot water storage control according to a user′s selection or setting.

The present invention relates to a controlling method for an instantaneous heating type hot water system capable of outputting hot water in a short time with reduced electricity consumption. An embodiment of the present invention comprise the steps of: determining whether a hot water discharge order is input (S10); determining whether the water temperature in the hot water tank has reached the goal temperature when the hot water discharge order is input (S20); opening the hot water discharge valve and operating the heater only in case the water temperature reaches the goal temperature (S30); determining whether the hot water discharge order is canceled, then blocking the hot water discharge valve and stopping the heater when the hot water discharge order is canceled (S40). 본 발명은 제빙방법 및 상기 제빙방법을 이용하여 제빙하는 얼음 정수기 및 얼음 냉온수기에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명에 따른 얼음 정수기 및 얼음 냉온수기는, 정수 탱크, 냉수 탱크, 상기 정수 탱크 내의 정수를 냉수 탱크로 공급하는 정수 급수 밸브, 및 상기 냉수 탱크 내로부터 공급된 냉수의 일부를 제빙하고 나머지를 냉각시키는 제빙 유닛을 포함하고, 주위 온도에 따라 각각 다른 제빙요구시간이 미리 정해져 있으며, 제빙 유닛의 제빙동작 중에 냉수 탱크로부터 특정 용량 미만의 냉수가 취수되면 상기 제빙요구시간 동안 제빙동작이 수행된 후에 정수 급수 밸브가 개방되고, 제빙 유닛의 제빙동작 중에 냉수 탱크로부터 특정 용량 이상의 냉수가 취수되면 취수량이 그 특정 용량을 넘는 순간부터 정수 급수 밸브가 개방된다.

PURPOSE: A method for controlling an ice dropping process, an ice making water purifier, and a hot and cold water dispenser with an ice maker controlled thereby are provided to drop ice at a desired time. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling an ice dropping process performs ice making and ice dropping operations. During the ice dropping operation, water is jetted to an ice making unit for a specific time to promote an ice dropping process. The ice making unit comprises evaporation fingers(24) and a nozzle assembly(25). Water jetting nozzles(26) for jetting water to the evaporation finger are formed in the nozzle assembly.

본 발명은 제빙 기능을 구비한 정수기나 냉온수기에서 제빙 유닛의 새로운 구조와 배치를 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 얼음 정수기나 얼음 냉온수기는, 음용 가능한 냉수가 저장되는 냉수 탱크; 및 복수의 핑거 형상의 제빙핀을 가지는 증발기를 구비하는 제빙 유닛;을 포함하고, 상기 증발기는 각 제빙핀의 선단이 위쪽을 향하도록 하면서 상기 냉수 탱크에 저장되는 냉수에 잠기도록 배치되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 제빙 유닛이 냉수 탱크나 제빙실의 위쪽에 배치되는 종래 기술에 비해, 장치의 소형화를 도모할 수 있고, 청소나 유지 보수시 작업성이 개선된다.

The present invention provides new structure and arrangement of an ice-making unit in a water purifier and a hot/cold water supplier having an ice-making function. The water purifier and the hot/cold water supplier according to the present invention comprise a cold water tank for storing drinkable cold water; and an ice-making unit with an evaporator having multiple finger-shaped ice-making fins. The evaporator is arranged to be submerged in cold water stored in the cold water tank with the front end of each ice-making pin facing upward. The present invention has a compact structure and facilitates cleaning and maintenance in comparison with a conventional product with an ice-making unit arranged above a cold water tank or an ice-making chamber.

PURPOSE: A method for controlling an ice making process, an ice making water purifier, and a hot and cold water dispenser controlled thereby are provided to prevent an ice making unit from freezing and bursting. CONSTITUTION: An ice making water purifier comprises an ice making unit(30), a first temperature sensor(32) for the ice making unit, a second temperature sensor(34) for surroundings, and a control unit. The ice making unit cools water or makes ice. The first temperature sensor senses the temperature of the ice making unit. The second temperature sensor senses the surrounding temperature of the ice making water purifier. The control unit compares the temperature sensed from the first temperature sensor with pre-set abnormal ice making temperatures. The pre-set abnormal ice making temperatures are changed depending on the surrounding temperature sensed from the second temperature sensor.
